The dance performance WASHAWAY speaks softly yet intensely to the water within us. Through milky connections – sucking, drooling, crawling, chewing, waving, swaying – the performance dives into the tides of our bodies. Catching the milk drops dripping from the cow’s udder, we are passing on, moving through – and watery embodiments with their ever-changing environments unfold from a posthuman perspective.
This performance invites you to float across bodies, across time, from mother to daughter, from cow to cow, from low tide to ocean, to more-than-human terrains.
