Whilst everyone is sunbathing and tourists are flooding Copenhagen, we invite you to a double bill evening the 14th and 15th of July, with two duets: “Yes, may she live!” and “Essendo”. The two duets both approach, in different ways, how we deal with ourselves in different life’s circumstances. The evening starts at 19.00 with a duration of 1 hour and a small interval of 15 minutes.

A dance theater piece, surrounding the theme of greed and pleasures through facing ones birthday. How do we handle pleasures when offered them? Can we avoid always wanting more? Are we ready to face the fact that good days will pass and that we will, at some point, die?

Essendo
A piece where the performers meet in a continuous dialogue. The dancing is an expression of accepting what just is, in the very moment, as are the harp and the voice accompanying it. Are the performers able to be completely honest and vulnerable towards themselves and each other – despite people watching?
